Honeymoon: Christmas Day

Well, standby, very bad idea. We got to the airport to find out the Boston Flight was sold out. Not sure how this happened because when we called they said it was “wide open”. Whatever. Anyhow, we tried to go to JFK and catch a delta flight from there. Well, by the time we went through the extra baggage check (which we didn’t know about until our 3rd or 4th time up to the Jet Blue counter) we missed the JFK flight. So, we are now off to Boston with hopes we’ll luck out and get on the Boston to Seattle Flight.

We get to Boston, and are #s 5 and 6 on stand by. They are ready to close the gate, and we are supposed to get on, until the 2 people who didn’t show up, finally did and we got bumped. I feel very frustrated because I just want to go home! It’s cold here and we only have tropical clothing… so we think Vegas, sounds warm and it’s closer then Boston to home.

So, we are off to Vegas via our standby tickets, and then we will just buy a Alaska Air flight home. We arrive in Las Vegas at 11:30 pm Christmas night. To our shock, its 34 degrees out! Again, my bikini isn’t serving me well here!

We are excited to be here, but very tired. We check into the Paris Hotel (thanks for booking it for us Scottie) and walk around. We crash about 2 pm.
