Today, we decided to lounge ALL DAY at Fort Worden. We slept in until 10:30! I continued knitting, and we at leftover pizza for lunch with a cosmo. Posted at July 11th, 2007Today, we decided to head out to Hurricane Ridge. But first, a recap on lastnight… Boy was it WINDY! I thought the poor little Fun Finder was going to take off with us in it. Of course, it didn’t help we left the awning out until 3 am! I was invisioning the windstorm in Seattle last winter when it lifted the fun finder a few feet backwords!

Alright, so that pick is the end of day 1, so let’s start at the begining…A little bit of craziness begins our Monday. We were not at all packed for the trip, so we had to scramble to get everything together. Leaving gifts and wedding supplies strewn throughout the house, we hit the road about 2:30 pm. We were the second to last car on the 3:05 ferry!

Yes, we are sleepy, but had a FANTASTIC time! The venue turned out beautiful (thanks to hard work by “the decorators”), and the day had very glitches—nothing major!Phew!!
This AM we were greeted in the lobby by Tyler, Carson, Tina, and Stacey screaming our names and practically knocking us over with gigantic hugs!!!
