Tonight, Renee and I played with some more centerpiece ideas (while drinking a few martini’s of course!) We combined flowers, rocks, and crackled candleholders. Sort of pretty. Continue reading ‘Centerpieces, take 2.’
Posted at October 14th, 2006Well, after a few days preparing for the wedding, we all survived! A lot to do, but in the end it came together quite nicely! Heather was a beautiful bride, and we had a great time (maybe a little too much fun!! 🙂 )
We are lucky to have a wedding at the same time we are planning ours… Heather has been passing on her experience in wedding planning with us!
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Weeks
(Weird… now I have to remember to call my friend of 13 years Heather WEEKS!)
After freaking out on Friday after the first 8 photographers I heard back from were booked—I finally got in gear to find a photographer. I have spent the last 3 days researching, corresponding, and meeting.
Today, I met with J & J photography and hit it off. I think their photography style is just what we are looking for. Not only that… but they were both friendly, inviting, and and comfortable to be around.
I am relieved I have someone booked, but also VERY excited and anxious to have engagement photos taken along with “the big day!â€
Posted at September 24th, 2006Today Mom, Renee, and I went to the Bridal show. I wasn’t super impressed with the vendors (or lack there of), but none the less—it was fun quality time. I tried on a couple of dresses (blah), and we attended the fashion show which was entertaining.
Posted at September 24th, 2006Today, Brett and I went to West Seattle to work on our ceremony plan and start our vows. We checked out a book from the library which had about 12 questions to go through before starting our vows. We had a great conversation and have a good foundation for our ceremony and what marriage means to us.
We’ve been together a long time. But as we reflected on our relationship… it’s now crystal clear that we
are both ready for marriage. I am so thankful we can step into it with confidence and really talk about what we do and do not want out of marriage.
Our Officiant is official. Miss. Whitney McConnell, my darling friend of many years has offered to be our wedding officiant. She will be ordained, and will be marrying us on July 7, 2007.
Tonight Brett and I met for drinks (to discuss the wedding of course!). We started coming up with ideas for the ceremony, how it would flow, and confirmed our choice of music was good. Whitney was packed full of great ideas and I am quite excited to have her marry us!
Posted at August 31st, 2006We traveled over to Clarkston this weekend for several parties—Shower, Bachelor, Bachelorette.
Friday night was the shower, which was nice. After, everyone was invited to meet up with the men at Heather and Jeremy’s House. Alchohol came out, and things got fun and interesting to say the least!
Jeremy loves the camera! Continue reading ‘Heather’s Parties!’
