Flowergirl Dresses… check!

Today I realized that it could take 10-16 weeks to get the dresses in— 16 weeks is June 18th. Doesn’t allow a lot of time for alterations considering it’s peak wedding season! So, after a little plea out to Renee and Debi, the flowergirl dresses will be ordered this weekend. Phew! Fuchsia pink will be the color, how cute!

Bridesmaid Dress… Check!

Tonight, Renee and I met at Nordstrom’s and decided on a bridesmaid dress! (FINALLY!) It’s a black cocktail style with see through straps, fitted waist, and a flowy knee length skirt.

Now I just have to make sure Heather and Gloria are able to get their sizes before they are sold out!

While we waited for Renee to get off work, Tyler and I went to try on the flowergirl dress I that I like. They didn’t have it in stock, but I was able to get a color swatch so that’s good. I think we’ll order them!

Flowergirl bucket

This week, mom and I ran across these adorable orange buckets. They inspired me to find pink ribbon, and rinestones to doll up for the flowergirl buckets. Here’s how they turned out:

I ran by Renee’s to show her. Tyler got a hold of the bucket and practiced tossing flowers. She’d empty the bucket, pick the petals all up, and start over again. I think she liks it! 🙂

Now, I just need to go purchase 1 more pack of rinestones and finish the 2nd Bucket. Then… another thing checked off my “To Do List”!

Sapphire wedding band?

Today, I did searched around for a sapphire wedding band. I think it may compliment my ring quite nicely, but I am also worried I may not want a blue stone on my finger all the time. I found two in NYC: (oh darn, I might have to travel there!)

Meet Lucy, my new Mini

Isn’t she lovely? Lucy and I met February 11th. We fell in love and I drove her home that night. She’s fun, sporty, and of course… adorable.

Wedding Gown… Check!

It’s official, I now have a lovely wedding gown. It’s the perfect one I think. Simple and glamorous, a look has roughly been in my mind all along.

I went and got my measurements taken and paid for 1/2. I also took off the butt corsage and added satin buttons down the back. Even though I’ve tried the dress on 4 times, Amanda’s Bridal was nice enough to humor me once more. 🙂

It should arrive in the beginning of June when I get to pick out my veil. Amanda’s has so many beautiful choices!
