My Matron of Honor

Today Renee, Tyler and I went to lunch, tea, and then we had our nails done. I gave a card with an illustrated red dress and a written note inside to Renee…

“My Sister”

She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities.
She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway.
She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows when you are smiling, even in the dark. She is your teacher, your defense attorney, your personal press agent, even your shrink.

Hopefully… She will be by my side as my Matron of Honor.

Thankfully, Renee Accepted. 🙂 We peeked at magazines, books, my new organizer, and Renee is gearing up with her FIRST responsibility- an Excel spreadsheet outlining the budget. Yahoo!

Tyler was very excited to look at the magazines, and asked to look closer at my ring. She waved it around as I quite nervously watched. She also wanted to know “if she could braid my hair” on my wedding day. Hehe, I’ll have to think about that!

Later that evening Tyler wanted to know if she could be a flower girl. So Renee and I had her “try out”. She did pretty good…. 😉
