Tonight, Renee and I met at Nordstrom’s and decided on a bridesmaid dress! (FINALLY!) It’s a black cocktail style with see through straps, fitted waist, and a flowy knee length skirt.

Now I just have to make sure Heather and Gloria are able to get their sizes before they are sold out!

While we waited for Renee to get off work, Tyler and I went to try on the flowergirl dress I that I like. They didn’t have it in stock, but I was able to get a color swatch so that’s good. I think we’ll order them!

This week, mom and I ran across these adorable orange buckets. They inspired me to find pink ribbon, and rinestones to doll up for the flowergirl buckets. Here’s how they turned out:

I ran by Renee’s to show her. Tyler got a hold of the bucket and practiced tossing flowers. She’d empty the bucket, pick the petals all up, and start over again. I think she liks it! 🙂

Now, I just need to go purchase 1 more pack of rinestones and finish the 2nd Bucket. Then… another thing checked off my “To Do List”!

Today, I did searched around for a sapphire wedding band. I think it may compliment my ring quite nicely, but I am also worried I may not want a blue stone on my finger all the time. I found two in NYC: (oh darn, I might have to travel there!)

Isn’t she lovely? Lucy and I met February 11th. We fell in love and I drove her home that night. She’s fun, sporty, and of course… adorable.

It’s official, I now have a lovely wedding gown. It’s the perfect one I think. Simple and glamorous, a look has roughly been in my mind all along.

I went and got my measurements taken and paid for 1/2. I also took off the butt corsage and added satin buttons down the back. Even though I’ve tried the dress on 4 times, Amanda’s Bridal was nice enough to humor me once more. 🙂

It should arrive in the beginning of June when I get to pick out my veil. Amanda’s has so many beautiful choices!

I am writing to let all our guests know where we will be staying the night of our wedding- July 7, 2007. We were going to hold off and send this information with our invitation—but, there are only 20 rooms remaining. Unfortunately, because there are limited rooms remaining, we are not able to hold a room block or get any great deals for our guests. Of course, there are plenty of other options in the city (expect the lowest rate to be $190, weekend rate) or outside of the city (Ranges from $85-185, weekend rate). (more…)
